Scroll down for a description plus photos & video showing the three different types of prints surfaces available from Jaime Corum Equine Art. Here is what to expect from Paper, Metal or Canvas Prints:
Paper
My paper prints are created using a “giclee” printing process with archival ink on fine art paper. Their color and detail are lush on the velvety surface of the paper. All paper prints offered on my website are part of a limited edition of 400 (meaning only 400 of that image and size will be produced). Each one is carefully titled, numbered and signed by the artist in pencil or black pen on the bottom white border of the print. Paper prints have a classic, timeless look when framed and should be framed under glass to protect the print.
Metal
Metal prints are my newest printing surface on offer and I’m quite smitten with the way they shimmer and glow with an almost inner light. They are printed using a museum quality dye-sublimation process on an aluminum substrate. I sign on front and title and sign on the back of each metal print. They are unique to say the least and will no doubt be a conversation piece in your home or office. They come ready to hang with their own hanging hardware (though you can use your own as well). The metal frame on back acts as a hanging mechanism and allows the thin metal print to “float” slightly off the wall. Metal prints do not need to be framed, but they can be framed if you want a more traditional look.
Canvas
Canvas prints are archival, giclee prints on high quality, medium weight canvas material. Each canvas print is signed on front and signed and titled on back. They can be ordered either stretched on wooden stretcher bars or un-stretched (to avoid higher shipping cost). The un-stretched canvas will come rolled in a poster tube and your local framer can stretch it for you. Canvas prints have the look of the original artwork because they are printed on canvas, the surface texture of the original oil painting. Canvas prints are very versatile and can fit in with modern/contemporary or traditional decor. For a more contemporary look, you can select a simple, thin frame or even no frame at all, while a highly traditional and classic look can be achieved with a handsome wood or more ornate frame.
